This ornament represents the City Hall of University City. The Beaux Arts style building was erected in 1903 by University City founder Edward Garner Lewis to house the office of the Lewis Publishing Company. Herbert C. Chivers was the architect and building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The bright gold ornament comes in a keepsake box with a historic description.
